Headache Treatment Has Changed Dramatically
If you tried migraine treatments years ago and gave up — or if you’ve been told “just take ibuprofen and drink more water” — the landscape has transformed. In the last 6 years, the FDA has approved entirely new classes of medications designed specifically for migraines. These aren’t repurposed blood pressure pills or antidepressants. They were built for your brain.
These panels highlight major parts of our practice—from Botox® and in-office infusions to complementary therapies and supplements—with a balanced layout so no single option dominates the page.
Botox® for chronic migraine
OnabotulinumtoxinA is FDA-approved for chronic migraine in adults. We use the established injection protocol on a recurring schedule (typically every 12 weeks) to reduce headache and migraine days—often a strong option when oral preventives have not been enough.
- Evidence-based injection mapping for chronic migraine
- Ongoing assessment and coordination with the rest of your plan
- Prior authorization support when your plan requires it
Eligibility depends on diagnosis (e.g., chronic migraine criteria), medical history, and payer rules. We decide together whether Botox® is appropriate for you.
Vyepti® & IV protocols
Vyepti® (eptinezumab) is a CGRP-targeted preventive given as a scheduled in-office infusion—often quarterly—for appropriate candidates. Separately, we offer in-office IV protocols for preventive and acute migraine care when clinically appropriate, as part of a plan tailored to you.
- Vyepti® infusion for eligible preventive treatment
- IV options for selected acute and maintenance needs
- Monitoring and scheduling integrated with your neurology visits
Specific regimens depend on your diagnosis, safety profile, and insurance coverage.
Migraine, dizziness, and post-concussion headache
Dedicated pages explain symptoms, when specialist care matters, and what an evidence-based plan looks like—useful for patients and referring clinicians.
- Migraine & chronic headache evaluation
- Vestibular migraine & dizziness patterns
- Post-concussion headache care
Not all dizziness is migraine-related; we evaluate carefully and direct patients to the right next step when needed.
Lifestyle medicine + structured tracking
We integrate practical lifestyle threshold factors with evidence-based migraine treatments, and we use structured tracking to measure response over time.
- Sleep, hydration, caffeine, stress physiology, hormones
- Medication overuse prevention strategies
- MyRivna (or an approved alternative) supports care without replacing clinician judgment
We avoid vague wellness claims and focus on measurable changes that improve outcomes.
Below is a fuller list of medications, devices, and procedures we often use. Your plan is chosen after a precise headache diagnosis—not a one-size-fits-all menu.
A Treatment Plan Built For You
Every patient gets a thorough workup, a clear diagnosis, and a treatment plan built around their specific headache pattern. Dr. Singh combines the newest medications with lifestyle assessment and root cause analysis.
Other medication approaches we often use include targeted acute therapies (such as triptans and gepants when appropriate) and selected nutraceuticals with reasonable evidence in migraine.
Sleep, triggers, and coordinated referrals are part of how we practice too — see Services for how those fit into your care.
